Our precious baby, you've been gone
One whole sad year today;
Our lives have never been the same
Since you went away.
We know you play in heaven's fields
And romp with angels there,
But oh! we wish that you were here,
Your hugs and smiles to share.
You're always in our thoughts and prayers;
You nestle in our hearts.
But how we wish we'd never seen
The day we had to part!
God wanted you, His precious Bud,
To blossom, bloom, and grow
In Heaven's gardens where He lives,
But, oh! we miss you so!
Jesus loves you, and you learn
While cuddled in His arms;
Your beauty was too much for earth;
You left with all your charms.
Your precious face and memory
We'll cherish in our hearts
Until the day God calls us home,
And then we'll never part.
We love you always and forever, Taigeous!
